To advocate to policy makers, the public and private sector, communities and parents the need to invest in high quality early childhood care and development programs that embraces best practices for the holistic development of children

To facilitate the setting up of a network of licensed affordable and accessible childcare through the setting up of home-based and workplace childcare centers in partnership with government, private sector and communities for the benefit of low and middle income families

To raise the professionalism of childcare personnel through smart partnerships with academia and other organization for continuing professional development

To advocate for quality standards for childcare centers, childcare personnel and EECE training organization

Our Objective

We were entrusted with ensuring that the children receive quality care by professional childcare providers and/or their parents with this objective in mind

Advancing Education

Advance the education and training of childcare providers in the urban, rural and plantation sectors by organising lectures, seminars, workshops, exhibitions and demonstrations in order to update, streamline and render more effective the organisational and administrative capabilities of such personnel

Resources Centre

To establish resources centres and to undertake and publication and the dissemination of journals, newsletters and other materials bearing information, opinions, suggestions and research findings in the field of early childhood care and development.

Maintain Close Relationship

To maintain close liaison between the Association and the relevant ministries and to make representations as to the registration licensing and operations of child-minding childcare services.

ACHIEVEMENT

  • 2006; PPBM was awarded by Selangor State as excellent 3rd best NGO by Selangor Registrar of Society 
  • Under 2008 Budget by Ministry of Finance supported by Ministry of Women, Family and Community under “Projek Asuhan Prihatin Malaysia (PAPN)” been provided grant of 10M (project from 2008 – 2011) and achieved KPI of 75% for a project providing training to women underprivileged/single mothers to venture into Home-based Childcare throughout the country
