About PPBM

WHO ARE WE?

Persatuan Pengasuh Berdaftar Malaysia (PPBM) -formerly known as Persatuan Pengasuhan Dan Perkembangan Awal  Kanak-Kanak Berdaftar Malaysia- or Association of Registered Childcare and Providers Malaysia -formerly known as Malaysia Association of Registered Early Child Care and development- is a National ECCE NGO with 23 affiliate State/District Association spearheading and advocating for quality early childhood care, development and education of children since 1986

  • PPBMis a non profit organization registered with the Registrar of Societies in September 1989 and works closely with the Ministry of Women, Family & Community Development, Malaysia (KPWKM)

  • We are entrusted with ensuring quality alternative childcare for children up to four years old

  • In collaboration with 23 affiliated state associations throughout the country, PPBM work towards ensuring that the children receive quality care by works professional childcare providers and/or their parents

WHAT WE DO?

PPBM ‘s Executive Committee and a pool of experiences consultants, trainers and members have the necessary expertise, strengths, specialties and practical experiences as early childhood practitioners   

Our Objective

We were entrusted with ensuring that the children receive quality care by professional childcare providers and/or their parents with this objective in mind

Advancing Education

Advance the education and training of childcare providers in the urban, rural and plantation sectors by organising lectures, seminars, workshops, exhibitions and demonstrations in order to update, streamline and render more effective the organisational and administrative capabilities of such personnel

Resources Centre

To establish resources centres and to undertake and publication and the dissemination of journals, newsletters and other materials bearing information, opinions, suggestions and research findings in the field of early childhood care and development

Maintain Close Relationship

To maintain close liaison between the Association and the relevant ministries and to make representations as to the registration licensing and operations of child-minding childcare services.
